Why sing a Chinese song in an English class? Are you going to translate it from Chinese to English?

And how old are your students?

I've been told Twinkle Little Star is popular in Chinese. 5 year olds would take to it,  but probably not so good for high schoolers.

my class ranges from teenagers to adults. they just want me to sing something just for fun. i don't think it matters if it's in chinese or english. any suggestions for english songs though? thanks!

A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
