I've noticed a lot of people in China, especially men, have vascular insufficiency in their arms.
I started to get the same around six months ago; what's the cause?
Is there something in the food or water that causes this?

That's called vericose veins and it could be genetic. If your family has a history of it you can get it too...

It's more than that.
Varicose veins are a progressive disease. This appears to be a rapid phenomena.
I've seem lots of young guys, early twenties, with them. Protruding a lot like a man in his sixties.
I've seem more veiny arms on Western men than Chinese men to be honest. But as a rule of thumb, I find that the more muscly a man is the thicker his veins. I think your protruding veins could be due to the heat. Blood expands in hot temperatures which is also why people get swollen fingers and feet.
