Q: Anyone know of any decent art districts (not 798) in China?

I just got back from a Christmas trip to Beijing and thought the 798 art district was pretty cool. As an art-lover myself I'd love to know of some other funky art distrcits around the country. I don't care where, I'll add it to my ever growing China bucket list!

You could try M50 in Shanghai. When I went a few years ago there were a lot bulldozers there however so I'm not sure what's there now. You could also try Caochangdi in Beijing, but it's not really an art district per se, but a village with art galleries scattered throughout.
