So, the troll exposes itself openly. A challenge for ECC - will you invite official censure by allowing the troll to live?

Yes they are? Why?

Please note that that proletysing is NOT allowed in China. Religion, like everything else, is controlled by the government here.

Butter my bum and call me a biscuit if evangelist virgin twonk cubster isn't a dating website stalker in the name of Jesus come to save the heathen Chinese. Do tell, which cult do you belong to?

Hey, just wondering if Mrs Right told you she is a virgin too? You should believe her. All chinese girls are traditional virgins. Fact.

I really don't know the A to a Q here. I was really just checking out As to such a profound Q.

You can always determine 'quality' of Q by replies posted.

You can also always see the 'thickness' - stupidity level of the OP from his arguments to replies posted.

I just earned 2nd sleeve on my 5th raincoat with this reply.

So Mr Cub not only needs to get his virgin bride from China, he now expects her to convert to his religion!

How FKN arrogant is that???

Why can't you find someone over in the states who already believes? And has a similar sense of values?? I'm sure Utah has a stack of women just waiting for you!

And how moronic, to think that just giving someone a book to read is going to make them 'believe'. I mean, truly absolutely believe??? AND... in the exact same way that you do? (some denominations allow for female priests, others don't. Some denominations are ok with homosexuality - others still condemn it!)

If Cubby thinks the "Traditional Chinese values" are so awesome (such that he's tossing off over his little bride-to-be's culture), then why doesn't he convert to a Chinese religion? Like Confucianism or Daoism? It makes far more sense...

And is less egotisitical!

Expecting to change one's basic beliefs to fit in with someone else's - just cos you get married (or whatever) is - completely fucked-up!!!

Hulk:

I got my virgin bride from China, and now I hope she'll convert to my religion.

How fucking arrogant is that? I dunno, but I'm pretty arrogant. Have a coke and a smile, mate.

Hulk... you've been in China for years - experiencing the culture, the tradition, etc, you met her through 'normal' means, got to know her as a person for some time, and finally decided to marry because you both felt it was the right thing to do, after being together for a while, and her conversion to your beliefs is not a requirement for being married.

Not so arrogant.

(I'm not saying you aren't arrogant - just that this isn't a demonstration of it :p)

Its China not Iran no

ScotsAlan:

Ha ha.

I am having a lazy Saturday. Too much time on my hands.  There are 117k Christians in Iran, according to wiki.

According to RT news, it seems one can buy the New Testiment there. According to Yahoo answers, the bible is on sale freely.

I won't post links, because I cant find a definitive good source (not using VPN).  Having said that, I can't find a good source to say it is banned there.

Information and dis-information.... the great game of politics wink

Interesting article here:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/10776023/China-on-c...

I think China is over demonized by western agencies too often.

Your typical bible bashing westerner would like to think how persecuted Christians are in other countries. But articles such as above, from a good source, shows the truth.

It's a ploy. A Christian conservative fears science, fears the truth, fears real democracy, but above all fears any socialist idea that might put his tax bill up.  Telling people they need to fear God, and that they can help them avoid Gods wrath. It's a power thing.

Don't get me wrong. Lots of good people out there. Of all faiths. But I am not keen on the fundametilists at all.

rasklnik:

-I think I'll take Bob Fu's account of Chinese treatment of Christians over yours. Or the VATICAN.

I don't fear science, the truth, or real democracy - unless everyone wants fucked up things, then yes, I fear that. You are right about putting my tax bills up. I don't like losing $2200 per month to taxes. That's money my family could really use.

ScotsAlan:

Dont get me wrong Hulk. I am not anti religion. I believe myself. But I dont like organised religion, or should I say right wing religion as per Fox news style. People who really believe and understand put me in awe. The forgivness the Amish offered after the school shooting, and the forgivness in the recent Church shooting. That is real understanding of religion. Not the Faux news nuke them brigade. Real believers work together, no matter their faith. Anyone who uses religion to persecute another is Satans spawn in my view. Not that I am anti Satan of course. Everyone is free to do as they please.

Have I been absent and inactive so long that everyone new who posts is suddenly a wumao, or a troll looking to stir up trouble? I used to think the Bible was banned in China until I ran into one in a bookstore. I was a bit taken aback because of all the western propaganda was slowly being revealed for what it was.

Have I missed the other posts?

Oh wait... everyone new here is immediately demonized as a troll. We've been doing this for YEARS. Why? We can't answer any questions without jumping all over people like a pack of rabid animals. If people take the time to post a question, why is it so difficult to answer them without resorting to attacks?

What the hell, people?

And no, it's not banned in China, but it's somewhat harmonized.
