Now come on they don't even put any crime stories on t.v. why in the world would there be a statistic on how many people are wrongly jailed in China? Get real it doesn't exist!!

There are no accurate statistics on anything in China.

I am pretty sure the numbers on dissidents are quite accurate. Phone numbers, ID card numbers, numbers of bullets in them...

I don't know,but I saw an interesting stat on TV. The US has 3% of the worlds population and 25% of its prisoners. Thats what privatizing prisons does.

The prison population per 100,000 of the national population: US 716, China 121, Canada 114

So true regarding the private prisons!

Their main goal is to have as many "guests" as possible. Which means that recidivism, not rehabilitation, is in their best financial interests.

I truly believe that private prisons are a huge mistake that only benefit the share-holders.
