Q: Bear bile thoughts

Will this sudden protest deter Chinese people from using traditional medicine and stop this trade and make more changes in the animal use of chinese medicine?

Or a spur of the moment action in which it will pass over quickly and no real change happen.

I really hope that it is the start of a lasting change in attitudes. Slaughtering animals humanely is one thing, but the  extended period of torture those creatures go through is sickening.

Realistically, I think that attitudes will change, but those changes will come over the very long term, not immediately.

If you brought in corporal punishment (even even just vigilante groups) it might change... but sadly, I doubt very much that things will change any time soon... or not soon :(
