Well, Samsung FINALLY got it right, I never thought any company could actually solve the lag issues with any smart + android phone, but the Samsung Note 8 did! 6 GB of ram solves the prob and with a good a** kicking CPU..
IF you are a teacher I'll tell you why you need it.
1. The size of the screen is like a mini PC because it is a PC and up to PC standards or better.
2. THe pen lets you prepare for a class in 10 minutes and father than using a mouse, cut, copy and paste is soooo fast with the pen, I can finally make great PPTs or edit them with google slides or better apps use it asap.
3. It comes with an adapter that allows you to connect any USB to it so you can download the files your phone has in it, so make a PPT and shoot it the USB and your class is set.. Yeah sorry iPhone folks it will cost you over 400RMB for a USB that can connect to an iPhone.
4. And with DEX (450RMB) you can turn your TV into a Chrome Desktop PC witht he NOTE 8 and do anything and its preloaded with MIC-Office, just cant use hard core video games, but app games yes.
5. No lag, thats right is as smooth as an iOS.

You be the judge, CAmera is great, the Pixel still is best.
If you buy than get the 128GB, you'll need it.
Use Baidu Cloud for backing up and using your files anywhere and everywhere and if you lose your USB than you have a back up.
I can't say enough good things about this Phone. But don't waste hard earned money on the iPhone X as its factory built worth is only $419 USD, Retail shops its $900.
I'm just sharing this to help anyone looking for a phone for the ESL market use or Biz area. You will love the Pen! Think of it this way: iPhones still do what they did 7 years ago, only new menu's, like 3d touch. But with the Samsung Note 8 Pen you will become a wizard at preparation.

My Samsung SM-G9550. Love it. Samsung hardware is first-rate. The edge-to-edge Super AMOLED screen made with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 defines beautiful and stunning, 3500mah battery, the extreme water resistance, 6gb RAM / 64gb memory expandable up to 256gb with a microSD card, Octa-core processor, 12mp rear camera/8mp forward cam. The huge screen size, 6.2" is why most of us call it a phablet.
So, you really can't complain about Samsung hardware, the only place I had a gripe with this device is its OS- Android 7.0 (Nougat), and not due to lag, I just find it harder to navigate than iOS. For me iPhone still rocks a better OS. Yeah, I also have the iPhone 6s+
As far as this new Samsung coming out with the pen,,, gosh, I had a Samsung Note years ago with a pen. Yep, I liked the feature. So does my ex-gf,,, haha
