Can you buy from the non-flash-buy sites without a Chinese bank account? I'd like to shop from Vancl and Taobao!

Hey

If you shop at Vancl you do not need a chinese bank account or net bank. They will deliver directly to your door and you pay when the goods arrive.

About taobao i have to say that i am not sure, i think it depends on which of the thousands of shops you use. i could imagine some of them also accepting payment on arrival.

No, for all those flash-buy sites or taobao you do NOT need a chinese bank account. you can also use the chinese paypal: Alipay!

This is a prepaid version where you have to charge your alipay account before you buy stuff. This account can either charged via a bank or a post office. There you fill out a small form, pay in cash, get a receipt and type in this number on your alipay account. voila. after that a payment can be done by only entering your email adress and passwort. it's really convinient after you figured it out ^^.
