been noticin' most chinese businessmen dressd casually in fty visits i've made here. even the bosses n managers wear a polo, t.shirt or shirt n jeans.
some ladies tho wear corporate suits n jackets, but rarely seen a man in suit in office.
is it the norm here ? do u dress formal or casual durin' official works n meetin's ?
I work in a big office and it's not super formal but not casual either. No one is expected to wear a suit in the summer (though in the winter it's not uncommon) but a button up shirt and slacks with dress shoes is acceptable year round. On fridays maybe a polo shirt and khakis. But no this isn't a super formal country, but then blue collar businessmen like factory owners aren't going to usually be formal anywhere.
I dress formal. But of course, i work for a foreign company, all my colleagues and bosses are foreign.
I do miss the days when I dressed in bikini and flip flops at work!

Did you just quit your good paid IELTS writting job?
What type of new job are you taking? Can they still pay you that money? I doubt they would if you did change the job.

Of course. I manage a business babe.
That's what an mba is for. Plus, I don't shift industries like you do, i have a deep understanding of the products. My current pay is 65,000 rmb per month. Is this your dreaming job? 10 times better payment and all the white dicks around in a world class company?retiredinchina:
so you are vicky's alter ego, so many "xiao di di", so little time. will miss your posts for a week, off to Malaysia today.

I always dress in shirts and sometimes suits when the ac is on.
Even my american colleagues sometimes dress in jeans and shirts, just for me of course.
But as the manager i must dress formal and set the right example.
However, when no monitor is around, i couldn't help but to put back my bikini on. It felt exciting.
I look forward to have nice time with you when you are back from malaysia babe!

It will be a joke that you get that amount. You didn't actually have business job experience. It's even hard that they'll pay you at 10K.
But you could possibly get around 7-9K as a Chinese obtained a UK university degree but didn't have work experience in a business field.
