Q: Is cheating a natural part of Chinese culture?
I wonder sometimes if all of these ideas of "face", "relations", "bargaining", etc. are all just kind of the same thing, which is corruption on a very large and multifaceted scale. Does that mean cheating is just a large and natural part of Chinese culture? (No insults are intended, I am not saying that all Chinese people cheat, etc. etc. etc.)
Cheating is not an inherent part of any culture, it's a bi-product of the monetary system. As long as we live within such a system there will be cheating because there will always be poverty.
funny question. do you believe any chinese would admit cheating is a natural part of national cultural?
sometime people made "harmless lie" to protect their face or reputation, but i thought this situation exist in everywhere in the world.

Chinese have admitted that cheating is part of their culture: just look at what happened during this year's Gao Kao

The Chinese military has finally figured out that fake copies can get them killed. I wonder what happened that we will never be told that caused this concern.
