Q: China, is this a ...

question?  I remember when people used to bitch about whether or not the posted question had anything to do with China.  Is it still supposed to be this way?  I had/have some funny topics to discuss, but finding a China connection might be hard.  But seems like lately we discuss most anything.  If I have a vote, I say let us discuss anything.  Anyway, my question is can we chat/discuss something that maybe has nothing to do with Middle Kingdom?

I think that rule got canned a long time ago. Just as well because if admin was going to get anal about that rule it would probably be the last nail in the coffin.

It was me that suggested that rule get binned when I was a mod.

It was probably the wrong suggestion at the time cos it turned a few ppl off I think. But I suspect they were mostly folk who were already home and had alternative places to vent more specific to their environment.

Sorry.

I think it was a good thing that rule got binned. I never understood the people who got upset because something isn't directly China related - if they're not interested, scroll on, seems simple to me.
