Medias in the West are happy to portray China's presence in Africa as colonialist and exploitative. Hypocrisy aside, is China really taking advantage of African countries they do trade with? Are they really siphoning them of their resources, or do they have very equitable relations with them?
A Chinese friend of mine said African countries were often coined as Chinese people's "brothers", because they had publicly sided with the CCP during the whole CCP/Taiwan standoff for legitimacy.
Why not the rest of the world does it
Look at the UK or France
both of them colonized Africa to get what they could
and they where not alone
Holland ,Germany ..ect............ all had their nose in the trough at some time in history
and at least China pays for what they get
Hell they even rip themselves off given half a chance
forgive me if im wrong and if I speak out of turn
Im sure there is somebody from that region
on here that can give you a African opinion
lose a billion here, lose a billion there, what's a billion among friends
