Q: Did you know that China is recruiting Americans to be spies? Here's how they do it.

http://sinosphere.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/04/15/using-china-as-an-example...

http://news.yahoo.com/chinese-espionage-puts-us-secrets-wrong-hands-1345...

They do this in Changsha in Furong district at notable High Schools and Colleges, which is why they exclusively seek foreigners with a degree in "Asian Studies," or those who show an unusual interest in China. Because only an extremist sinophile would agree to something so fucking stupid.

If asked to do this, please go ahead and agree to it, then immediately leave China and turn the information in to the FBI - or just keep your mouth shut. You know what happens if you refuse to do it? Bad things. You wouldn't want to end up like Robert McHale, would you?

The first link doesn't work and I can't intrude into the Great Wall. The second one has more data and it also says many of the ' patriots' were in the US not based in China.  It also shows that man worship money above religion, nationalism and so on.

Robert McHale was an Irish citizen if the walnut above my nose is operational. Yet, we heard nothing of that story to know what exactly happened to Robert and why ?

Interesting read. I guess it's equivalent to Chinese students paying for grades, just on a national level.

Thank you for the article OP. The second url was an especially good read!

Having read it though, I feel little surprised. While working on my doctorate in BME in the USA, I recall having a Chinese classmate immediately sent back home without so much as an explanation as to why. Later, it was rumored that he was e-mailing confidential materials back 'home.'

As an American I detest Chinese espionage, however.. can't really blame them for trying.

Generally I've read most boots on the ground espionage has been Chinese or Chinese Americans who have jobs in American defense, aviation, or technology industries who then sell secrets for cash, not 007 stuff. Almost all spies have been simply greedy individuals who do it for money...

Yes, lazy smart people doing stupid shit and getting killed, sorry they deserve it. The first rule of the spy trade, 1. You are your own worst enemy. 2. just because you are paranoid does not mean its not reality.

A:Wow, you really found that nitpicky talking point that elevates the fossil fuel industry to the same level as the interests of humanity. Isn't it all just a "liberal" scam, if you don't look too closely at the absence of logic? "Yes, it must be. My masters are hinting that that's what I should believe!"

You've made it clear you are consciously ignoring the pollution and global warming. Since your handlers, the conservative establishment whose dismantling of the carbon credit system and environmental destruction you choose to ignore, have made it clear you should bark in this direction, you are eager to please!

Such an admirably domesticated, dependable, subservient human. I'm sure your handlers will throw you a bone while they bring home the bacon for themselves. You're so obedient, you deserve a doggie cookie! Who's a good boy? You are! Yes, you are. U-S-A! Woof woof woof! -- coineineagh
