Yes, it's required now, but if you have 2 years proof of teaching experience than you don't need it.

Grizzly:

I have 4 years (last 3 at the college where I work now).. but they still say I need to do it.

Any contacts on agencies/companies that can authenticate? I had my course done in Thailand,  school can do only the notary stamp and can't find any company to bring to the ministry of foreign affairs and the embassy.

maybe there are any ways  to deal with it in China?

ironman510:

Go to your wechat and add: thejobtube Look for: China's New Online Diploma Verification System for VISA They can do certificates too, ask a Chinese friend to help you. BTW schools told me I need all kinds of things, example an FBI record check but I have been working here for 12 years in China, so I got my China security check and told the school just try it, and it worked perfectly because in 2006 I already gave my FBI, why give it again, I never left. So my advice is to walk into the foreign expert office yourself, they'll have a Q/A desk and ask them directly, school hr' S are stupid.

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
