Q: Do the 'Da Shans' have jobs?

The Da Shans, or white guys speaking amazingly fluent Chinese, are all over TV shows here in China, and there seems to be a fascination for them...but do they actually have jobs? Do they actually have something valid to say on these shows, or, like English teachers, are they only brought on to be paraded because they're white and speaking Chinese?

I'm sure the white guys on TV don't do it for free, they would have a job. Do you listen to see if they have any valid remarks? TV is a visual media so of course they would want to have extremely good looking people like myself presented or no one will watch. That is why you aren't on TV Laughing out loud Laughing out loud
