Q: Do I need any inoculation boosters?
For those of you who been here for a few years, have you had any inoculation boosters while here? Should I be making a trip to the docs for some updates?

it really depends on what shots you've gotten, where in China you are and if you plan to survive. best to ask the doc who gave you the shots
No, I wasn't required to got any extra vaccinations, before I arrived to China, and not at new Z applications.
I'm the healthiest, if I stay far away from docs, hospitals and stuff.
Had to do complicated dental procedure soon, and I'm in unease mood few months already.

There are probably more competent dentists than doctors in China. There isn't much voodoo that can be added to a dental procedure: It either works or doesn't, and the result will soon be apparrent. I'm sure the acute toothaches make mistreated patients far too "ma fan" to give the runaround. I had to get a filling replaced, and the dentist did a decent job. The only difficulty is that they're hesitant to sedate patients here.

I had check by my family dentists on fakes done in China last year, and they've all greeted nice work.
I didn't choose the most expensive procedure, but the 3rd one, and it was done well, numbing and all work for 10th of the EU price.
Before I came, I think I had Hep A, B, Japanese encephalitis, can't remember what else. Guess I should go ask a doctor here first and see.
I think doctors in China are happy to leave inoculations of foreigners up to them. It's our responsibility to keep track of expiring innoculations, but I have to admit I couldn't recall all my innoculations.
China has a different vaccination process, preferring to separate all the different disease innoculations into lots and lots of separate injections. For your personal enjoyment, and to make it all cheaper and more convenient for you the patient.
There have been some deaths from shoddy vaccinations, even vaccines produced by the most 'reputable' companies can kill you. The problem here is, that reputability is based on advertisement, bribed top-10 lists, government approvals, etc.
Professionalism and results would be a better measuring gauge, but this is China.
