Q: Driving to another country with a chinese car?
I want to drive to a neighboring country for a holiday but don't know which country allows you to drive a Chinese car with a Chinese licenses plate in their country. I have a Chinese and a Canadian drivers license but don't know the rules around it. I know every country has its own rules around this but I was wondering which would be the easiest to drive in. I was thinking along the lines of Russia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Vietnam....I don't even know if it's possible....
I think If I cant drive out of the country, ill just do a Yunnan road trip.

I don't see why you couldn't, I've heard of people doing it on motorbikes.
Not sure if it would be an issue or not but if you do decide on a country, one that drives on the right would probably be better, driving into a country with your steering wheel on the wrong side of the car might be a no no.
At least the Chinese Car has that special safety device that allows two solid objects to occupy the same time and space.

You won't have an issue. That includes driving in places where you drive on the left.
The biggest problem with driving on the left comes because you are not used to it. Your judgement might not be the best. Having both a Chinese and Canadian driving experience will be an advantage for you. Some of those countries may require a visa. For example you can drive to mongolia without a visa, assuming that you have a Canadian passport, as long as you stay less than 30 days.
