Q: Fashion Faux Pas

What is the most memorable clothes-related blunder you have seen?

I just saw an obese, lumbering Chinese woman wearing a rather-too-small brown tee shirt with the words AFRICAN ELEPHANT on the front.

On a bus, recently, I was standing near the rear exit. There was a 20-something woman sitting on the seat right next to me (the back seats are elevated, roughly at chest-level). She had her legs apart (in typical dignified Chinese fashion), and was wearing completely transparent white mesh pants, with her lady bits on public display. Chatting with her friend, and totally oblivious.

I saw lots of young people wearing weird T-shirt with words like: "I am not easy but we can discuss it" as well as some weird scrambled words that make no sense.

Yesterday I saw a lady in this weird purple fur jacket with colorful pants. These two things did not go together.

What about all those rainbow colors and weird patterns? Stripes with leopard prints? Too much! Laughing out loud

As Samsara mentioned, the weird pose of sitting with your legs apart is just so not nice.

Does Chinese professors who wear see-through dresses count?  Was at one of the schools I was working at.  Another was wearing a mini-skirt.  Maybe they work in administration.

Fashion is an artistic method by which otherwise totally normal people can look absolutely ridiculous without being carted of to an asylum.
