One of the factories I deal with didn't give the ladies the half-day holiday but instead bought them all a very thoughtful gift........of washing powder!

All the women in the factory got a free half day holiday. Apart from the cleaners for some reason. So much for a classless society. Unless they are being paid double time and get the holiday back at a later date. That I approve of Smile

Oh, and the barmaids better not be having a free holiday. They have a critical job to do

Every day is women's day.

My school honored the women by having a jump-rope competition, a mandatory dinner, and a variety show afterwards (1430-2200 hours).

I was invited out for dinner. Respectfully declined and suggested mother-in-law would be a better dinner date than me.........I am comfortable with left overs today dear.  no cooking, cleaning or impromptu exercise today............  enjoy your day with MOM.  Leave me out of it!!
