Q: Have you ever used a pet transportation service?

I allegedly was going to receive a dog from a seller in northern China and more and more problems kept popping up that required payments and deposits. Turned out to be a scam and cost me about 6,000rmb before I grew wise to it. Anyone else had similar experiences or know some trustworthy pet transport companies?

sorry about that, never used one of those. maybe you could mention them by name to warn others

PetAir Transportation. They'll try to get you to send money to their HQ in Cameroon through Western Union and throw a bitch fit if you want to use your credit card. Avoid at all costs.

Hate to revive a dead post, but does anyone have any concrete info for domestic (within PRC) pet transportation companies?  I need to send a cat from Nanjing to Shanghai and am having difficulty finding useful information.

Stick the animal in a cage and take the train ride. You could also use empty defibrillator bag as 'transport vehicle' ...

I surprise always travel by train in China.
