Q: Have you tried hot spring in China?

Is it good? Do you really believe it to be hot spring of some sort?

sure there are,, you mean natural hot water right,, not the ones in my bed which are also hot..,,most hot springs I have seen any where were in caves,,, there is one near Yangshou,,, had mud bath also,, it was 38* outside, why would i want a hot spring or mud bath in a rented bathing suit,, so I have no experience with the China hot spring,, but now that I think about it, the tour was mostly women and they all went into the change room to try it,,,maybe I missed something ?

I've been to manmade hot springs and was disappointed. What I didn't like was the fact that the tubs were really tiny so you were sitting closely to strangers, most of whom obviously stared because I was a foreigner and the water itself looked really dirty with lots of hair floating on the surface. Also, the entrance ticket didn't include all the hot tubs and many were reserved for others. But ultimately, the problem was too many people in a confined space and a body of water that wasn't cleaned often enough given the sheer numbers of people soaking in them. Not recommended!
