Q: Have your spending habits changed since living in China
I have noticed that my attatude toward saving has changed in recent years.
like buying things that I dont realy need
My wife always saves because it is the way she grew up in China
I swear she is of scotish blood
am I the only one or has this happened to you?

I would say the reverse happened to me. I used to be that money burned a hole in my pocket. Would spend it as fast as it came in.
But since arriving to China, I adjusted my life to have the essentials, except on food and wine, and do save almost half of my income each month, and quite happy about it. But do not get me wrong, I still have a nice standard of living, but only have one TV instead of one in each room, for example.
