I do share your headache in dealing with the 'brute'. Is there no way to ban the IP of the said retard?
There is no point. Even if they could this guy is so pathetic hed bounce around internet cafes just for a little attention. He peobably loves this post by the way. Perhaps we can just ignore everything he sais? Hell get bored right quick.

He reminds me of that fat Chinese guy that goes out with some of my Chinese friends. He doesn't like foreigners and makes rude comments... it is annoying but then I ask myself... this guy is old, fat... and has issues.
I am not going to make his issues, my issues. Besides I could see others were embarrassed by his comments... so let the idiots dig their own grave... I don't like labor work.

We have been criticizing each other here on variety of topics and sometimes came across real harsh comments but I have never seen someone so desperate to derogate and insult people on personal grounds. I know the admin must be having hard time to deal with him but I thought if banning his IP may restrict him from accessing the site so often.
I would once once again request him to come up with some sanity and solid arguments instead of personal attacks. I am ok with his down votes as I really don't consider them but in no means I can bear the personal attacks.

If we all just ignore him, he'll go. It's because we respond and that makes him more eager to piss everyone off.
There have always been Aholes or brainless idots here, bad periods and calm periods. Nature abhors a vacuum. Just think of them as the villiage idiot, ignore them if you can't have fun with them.

We have now blocked his IP address. Although if I know these guys well enough, then I think he'll be back. Either through a VPN or just another computer.
There's only so much we can do here. And that is trying to catch him as quickly as possible and keep him out. But these guys are going to keep coming, if not him then another guy. Headache indeed.

@ Adminanswer, i have been reading, i think it is very wrong of you to assume this ,because i have been reading alot of the comments here and can see that even others are very condescending,critical, rude of other peoples questions.Some of the responses i have seen also do border on some of these expats being smartasses !!!! why do they not get blocked or kicked off site????? Maybe you are biast and not looking at the big picture.

The abusers - those who made the inappropriate comments for no reason, they were blocked.
Those who were on the receiving end of gratuitous comments - why should they be blocked???
it is not difficult to keep things respectful or robust, as many of the debates are.
I enjoy a robust discussion where people are adult enough not to cross a line.
Long may they continue.
usually a person only gets personal in their comments when they can't think of a good counter argument.

To answer VoiceG's question (at least it's what I assume is going on):
It's probably because some people get frustrated sometimes and blow off some steam once in a while on this forum. It only happens on occasion, and it's rarely a direct offense towards anyone (unless it's a troll/wumao, but those pests deserve it).
Most people contribute a lot here, bring a lot of good help, share some funny stories, etc. In other words, they make this forum a nice, enjoyable place, so if they switch to the dark side for a brief instant, it can be forgiven.
On the other hand, you have some people whose sole purpose here is to spam insults, spread racism, bother everyone, and be as useless as possible. Those people have no intention whatsoever of making this forum a better place, only a worse one, and that's why they have to go.

@harvey: I suggest you to write down a question compiled of your reservations and complaints but in a decent way. I am sure all of the members will try to respond you in a positive way. The problem is you get exhausted on the very first answer and revolted like a 10 year old.

i agree about the 'letting off steam' comment because before i regard someone as a troll or a 'steam-blower' i take a glance at their posting history if i want to be reminded of some previous comments, or because i know them well from their posts.
'steam blowers' having a BCD are obvious, as are trolls.
Most of us have had a BCD and can accept it from others, because we know it is not in character.
Some of my favourite posters are direct to the point of blunt, and good luck to them because it is easy to see their intention behind the comment and they have experiences to share that are worth hearing, or are insightful.
