Q: HK Visa-run... update

Not a question - a piece of information.

I can 100% categorically confirm that doing a visa run to HK still works!

However, I must also point out, mine was for a legit Z visa, with all the paperwork with a company that is fairly large and well-known (and has the certificates to prove it - which I had to take with me to HK...).

I even got express 24hr turn-around!! Smile

And, all that for a mere $500HKD

EDIT: BTW, I didn't use an agent - I went direct to the consulate/embassy/whatever they call it....

We need more posts like this.  Not just questions.  When people ask if they can get this visa or that visa, or if they can go here or there for it, afterwards they should give everyone an update.  Thanks Shining_brow

What country are you from? It might depend on where you are from? America, Canada, England?

Shining_brow:

Yes, I suspect you're right.

For working visa always possible in HK, with the invitation letter must be mentioned apply for Z visa in HK!

For L visa or F visa application depend on nationality and your situation, if they find there are lot of L visa or F visa in your passport, it is possible to let you obtain a short term visa, like 15 days L visa, or 30 days F visa.
