badly!

No in all seriousness, I have been avoiding the sunshine, and darting from air conditioned room to air conditioned room. And eating a lot of cucumber, drinking a lot of water. Have never got into the using an umbrella thing though

Wearing a scarf when they go outsideto avoid the sunshine or use an umbrella.
You'd better have less outdoor activities in hot weather, and it is said that the hot tea can make you cool off rather than the cold drink.

A: Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever
A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
