good question, just ignore them. only people with open mind and kind heart are welcomed. anyway, we have to protect ourselves from getting harm from jealous people.

As Gandhi said "win over your enemies with kindness" or something like that anyway. The key is not fight fire with fire but fight fire with flowers that are ideally fireproof.

Just show them that you are actually much better than they previously thought ... Shift+R improves the quality of this image. Shift+A improves the quality of all images on this page.

Always those people get much more attention than they deserve. They are in trouble with themselves and spread their own misery over the others. That would easily can turn all your good values into a reason of pain. Excelling at your work it will ensure you a lot of headaches. Pay some attention or better said treat the same way you treat yourself the jealous colleagues  , as though naturally, never out of a sort of favor so you avoid offending anyone and never pay attention beyond your abilities. If you feel you dislike that person anyway, learn to find something good about her or simply respect her as a person unlike your feelings. That should be the only exception about doing something beyond your abilities since doing good would eventually pay off your effort. If not, at least your conscience will be t peace. Never show off about how good you are. Let the people around you do this for you but don't expect to either appreciate you and your work. When they do it, enjoy it but don't expect to be this great all the time and just feel humble about their appreciation. Let people feel free to feel about you the way they feel and think is right and so you will learn to find your place in your working social environment. Thus accept including the jealousy as part of your working life.  If you're a man working in a place with too many more women than men, than you are indeed in trouble. In this situation I would simply let happen anything and focus on my work. After all, beyond my endeavor to socially be in good relation with anybody, it is my work and my character that will stand for me in front of these jealous people. Actually the way you love to receive the good things in life should be the same way to accept the bad things too whether at work or off work. Humility as much as you can learn and learning to become more and more humble. The bad people in your life are useful in so many ways you can't imagine, therefore the jealous ones are useful too. You just need to know how and why and you will end up stronger. But who would you think you are to appreciate this one and that one are bad person? Are you better than them, are you worse than them? whi8le you are great for some, you can be bad for others. It's difficult to appreciate honestly, so you better let the others judge, evaluate your acts and award you with merits whatsoever.

OK, I am in delirious state of mind as I have been working 6 days 9 hours per day and that just left me today in pieces. So I don;t take full responsibility of anything I just said. OK, I will anyway!

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
