Q: How do you get from Kunming to Dali? Travel tips needed!

I'll be arriving in Dali via plane and want to travel straight onwards to Dali without staying the night in Kunming. Are the trains, or only buses? And where do I get these from and how long does it take?

You can get trains and buses. You can take a bus from 西部客运站 which should take about 4.5 hours. Buses leave frequently throughout the day. Apparantly, there are only 4 trains to Dali a day at 8.32, 10:12, 23:30 and 23:40.

Bus times are as follows though you may want to do some extra research about the timetable though as this could be outdated now: 08:30、09:30、10:30、13:00、14:00 100元/人 6小时
