When Aston was still controlled by its two American founders, the schools were a tad above the rest of the language mills here in China.  Now that the two American founders are completely out of the picture and the school is almost exclusively in the hands of local management, things have gone down hill noticeably.  They are surely better than EF, decidedly so, not as good as Wall Street and somewhere in the middle these days as compared to the other chains.  They are not cutesy-wutsey like Disney.  The contracts and pay that they offer are frankly very mediocre and chances are quite good that your girlfriend will have to endure split shifts, long week-end hours and being farmed out to local middle schools during the weeks, all of this on about RMB 6,800 or less per month.  If she has any qualifications at all, she can do much better than this for sure.
