Q: How do you think of living out of the city center?

Since I moved near to where my company is, which is not in the city, I lost my social life, I tend to go home directly instead of going out to grab a drink and meet people. It made me get less chance to meet guys.

When I was living in the city, I tend to buy a drink in a bar on my way home, I do not really need to run a far way to get a drink, it makes me easy to get social life.

The only thing about not living in the city is the rent is cheaper.

How do you think of living out of the city center? Especially for someone needs social life.

Its shit.

I live an hour out of GZ, and there is nowt here. Beer on stool outside shop is the norm.

I did have a couple of western bars for a while, but both folded. The local hotels have folded too.

It is a minimum 30 min car ride for me to get a draught beer.

But it has to be said, the wifes hometown is ten times worse.

But hey Vicky... just think of the money you will save:-)

Living in lower-tier locales is just for certain folk.  I can't imagine young, on the prowl, like Viki desiring 3rdTier.  Well Viki, I hope you go first-Tier and date a cool guy!!

I enjoy living outside the city...more for your money and more relaxation...I enjoy being able to get to the parks and mountains in my time off...not into the bar scene.
