If you are already a teacher, then let your students (or their parents) know that tutoring is available.  Have some business cards made up in English & Chinese and hand them out.

Go to business networking events and let your services be known there.  A lot of companies want to hire an English teacher for their employees.  I know that I did for my employees.  It was a great perk for them.

Vikram, If you are in Guangzhou,  I think you can find some teaching gig in JunJing. There are like small ESL schools there (It is actually a big community in Huang Pu district). The pay is usually 150RMB per hour. Or check out New Oriental School (I forgot where they are located... can't remember if it's in YueXie district or something). They always need some partimers.

Good luck.
