go to places foreigners will frequent like a coffee shop.

you could ask the owner if you can post an ad. if they have a notice-board  - most of them i have been in do.

that was how i found my chinese teacher for private lessons

You can also try advertising on wechat. I used to do that while waiting for a job. I used the "people nearby" function and just broadcast messages about my tutoring service. You'd be surprised how how many people actually respond. In one week, I had 8 students. It was a pity as I had to leave Guangzhou since I landed a job elsewhere. QQ works as well but the results aren't that great.

I'd suggest not posting anonymously on websites like this one. If you'd registered an account then you might get PM's from people who are interested.

Also try registering on websites like www.gzstuff.com and putting an advert in the classifieds section (its free!). BUT please don't advertise your lessons in the forums or blogs or you'll get slated for spamming.
