Q: How many people using this forum buy and eat classic instant noodles?
They are everywhere, in all the supermarkets, convenience stores, works canteen etc. They are so common and cheap, they almost form a staple food for poorer people in Chinese society. Under what circumstances would you consider buying instant noodles? How do you perceive the quality and safety of instant noodles on offer? Would you pay more if a higher quality, premium convenience food was available as an alternative?
I eat them. Fried egg on top and a piece of garlic, not too bad. I buy the expensive one (8 ¥). I prefer not to think about if it is safe to eat. 
Yes, I wish there were more FF choices, I'm a single guy and I don't wanna cook real meals. I live far from the fancy supermarkets with western foods. I wish they had microwave burritos here !!

i have it maybe once a month. Sometimes after a long day when you are hungry just cant be bothered to go to a restaurant or cook, its nice to just boil some water and have a quick bite. Im sure a lot of us here ate loads of it when we were studying at university, so we are used to it.
Have a stock at home for a quick snack cannot really taste the difference between the cheap ones and the expensive ones.

Mostly difference it is a box ;) and some more expensive comes with a plastic/paper bowl and a plastic spoon inside...
I ate It form time to time, as a quick hot snack.
Some wonders if it is healthy? Not more unhealthy then hamburger I would say...
Lot of preservation chemistry in it, but... you have to die on something, don't You? ;)
I live on 10-cent Ramen... and not because I want to.
I buy noodles because I love noodles. I don't want to think about what crap is in them.
They are tasty and easy to make and with a fried egg on top make a fine light meal.
I would buy them regardless of how much money I had.
Reminds me of the Barenaked Ladies song...If I had a million dollars I wouldn't stop eating Kraft dinner...I'd just buy more...with really expensive ketchups.
Same applies to those glorious instant noodles....especially the spicy ones....mmmmm.
After 4 years of college....I can't even look at them anymore. I must admit, it did surprise me, I thought it was a thing for foreign countries since there are noodles everywhere in China, didn't think people would need to resort to instant noodles

I do my favorite instant noodle is that Shin Ramyun comes in many flavors, beef, chicken, shrimp, kimchi...
I love noodles ...many many different kinds ..spaghetti is one of them, but takes too long ..7 minutes ..nah .. prefer the special 4 minute ones
Instant noodles, never. I bought some at home and like them, later I had a migraine. Next time I had them, same thing. Thats how I learned MSG causes migraines.
