Q: How many regular visitors to this site work in China in jobs not related to teaching?
Hi, I have been in China almost 5 years working for an international company conducting medical research. I have noticed most of the regulars on this site are teachers. For those that are not, what type of work are you doing here?

I'm a grad student and I'm not planning to work in China.
Production and quality control management at a few factories working for a foreign company. But yes I believe about 75% of posters here are teachers of some sort.
Manufacturing engineer for new Chinese startup company producing ultracapacitors.
Business Owner, design and build any sort of digital media from software, mobile applications, high-tier (corporate) websites etc.
None of my clients are Chinese however... all foreigns companies from around the globe... mostly US, Canada and Australia.
I tried to get a couple of Chinese clients but they are times wasters. Most don't have a clue what they want, just like holding meetings with foreigners to gain face or something. They also cause LOTS of headaches lol. May try to break into the Chinese market again... but will need to improve my Chinese to a technical level.
Doing Small Business to export some food edibles and spices to India and want to explore market in China and around the world for Indian & Chinese Products.
