After the recent software upgrade, deletion of an open account is nearly impossible.
It is very similar to 'Touch rule' in Tournament chess:

Your record will be on view to all Gov. institutions as Coppery, Brass of Military, SEFAA ..
and a bit less Gov. institutions as Veterinarian Asylums, all Hot Pot Establishments and similar.

I don't understand the down vote, if there's no obvious way to do it then that's what I'd do too.
Just change or delete any personal details you might have provided and log off. You don't have any posts to worry about so the only trace of you will be a made up user name.
