Q: I'm an English teacher from Turkey, possible to find a job in China ?
I'm a non native English teacher Turkey . I have English Language and Literature degree (bachelor's )
I also have CELTA certificate
I just wonder whether I can find a job in China or not.Even if I'm non native ,I have clearer accent , easy to understand
as I know, China has separated to different tiers and these tiers are depend to quality of life
where can I work in ?

The laws were told to everyone last week about a small update, now it doesn't matter where a non native's degree comes from now, even from the U.S or the U.K, he or she won't be allowed to teach English.

Where did you get your degree?
It makes a difference when applying for your visa.

Sorry mate, I guess you've probably already read this elsewhere but being non native and having a degree from a non native country pretty much rules you out for working legally.
Someone might be able to steer you towards a school that will hire you, but I really wouldn't recommend it because as an illegal worker you're open to being used and abused by the school and to the legal consequences if caught.
I am out of myself (Non-native English passport), considering number of classes I am requested to teach in Istanbul at the moment.
I am into the 3rd month in Istanbul ... Wouldn't ever return to China despite pay in Turkey at Training mills is lousy without any benes comparable to pay in China for English teaching.
Get into the 'Jobs' part of the website, prepare your CV and start sending CV to job vacancies.
Since, you're holding Non-native English passport and your degree was also completed in Turkey, you don't qualify for legal (Z visa/Residence permit) English teaching job in China.

I once knew of an American girl with a Master's in English that was let go because she was not a good teacher. Yet in the states she taught English. Imagine that.

I become an English teacher first time in China, and I would say 'it was an easy task ... (for me!)' 'cause once the students like you ...
At my first class in EF Tangshan, I tried with teaching way which students liked ... Soon, I realized teaching become an easy task as soon as students like you.
In kindies, I had to make waiting parents came to the classroom and carry chumps home 'cause babies didn't want to leave at the end ... 
I guess, I have a gift. I can achieve the same with most of the animals. 
I left China at the end of last year's semester.
You can't work anywhere legally, you need a passport from a native country. There are no exceptions in my province. This applies in the lower tiers as well as the higher tier cities. You can find an illegal job but you'd be open to being abused and the salary is about 5,000 yuan ($750) a month for illegals. It's not particularly great.
Try Japan. ..they are more tolerant and less judging
Probably not since you're a non-native. But if your skin is white enough it's worth a try.

Who knows? What's the question again? Anything is possible, haha,,especially in Chiner,,, but if u mean straight-up and legal, I doubt it. Reminds me of hanging out in Cuba in the 90's as a US citizen. Gotta go on the 'down low' bro. my advice: chill and figure your way.
I’m an English teacher from America, and in the school I teach we have a Turkish guy and two ladies from Belarus. In fact, I think I might be the only native English speaking teacher in my school.

Working permit for laowai English teacher can be submitted only online, i.e unified system for whole China.
Non-native English teacher with degree from Native English country qualified for English teaching WP before 2017, and now as Iron is reporting on another thread, that possibility was taken off.
Native English teacher (passport from big 5 countries), BA degree, TEFL or TESOL Certificate and 2-years of working experience is the last requirement for an English teaching Working permit in China, no different than in Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, HK and most other Non-native English countries!
In other words, Non-native English passport holders are all working illegally in China.
I am sure you will find a job in China teaching English. Just go apply. There are english teachers here with less qualifications than you have. Plus a visa for anything else accept a work visa.
Non-native English teacher Turkey? The kind that receives pardons from U.S. presidents, or the kind that wants to pardon President Erdogan for everything?
Turkey is not popular among Chinese.

I have seen from many job posts that Chinese schools require native english speakers to teach bu i also have known friends who are non-natives that are already employed in many schools in China. Let us just try our luck!
