Q: Is it true that Western pharmaceutical companies sell their sub-par meds in China?

If you've seen the Constant Gardner you'll understand my question. Basically, since China has different standards to the EU for example, is it possible that the Western medicine we get here is stuff that's been banned or not approved in the EU?
