Q: Missionaries... pretending to be teachers... false witness?

Simple question really. As there is no 'missionary visa' ,are missionaries on teaching visas bearing false witness?

I don't know about false witness but the ones who sign on to teach kids English then proselytize instead of actually doing what they're paid to do are nothing more than thieves in my opinion.

Oh, they can't be theives. God said "Thou shalt not steel". But it is mostly religious people who do that. Bearing false witness would be a better category. Instead of doing what they were meant to do (if there here on a legal visa) they are coercing people to believe in their god. ( If you don't believe in god you will burn in hell or go to pergatory.) indecision

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
