Q: Need Help with Visa Conversion Problem

I had a valid working visa, and my residence permit was valid up to 2013. However, I quit my job and started with new company. After quitting, my previous company applied for cancelation of my visa, and now I have a tourist visa for 1 month. Do you think when my new company applies for new work visa, do they have to begin everything from scratch or is there any way to get another residence permit??

If you had requested the new permits based on your new place of employment, and had your release letter, within ten days of quitting,  you could had it transfer.  If more than 10 days have elapsed, then must start a new process, but if is just a few days, I would try it and see if it flies.  good excuse will be the holidays.
