Q: Is possible make a tourist visa extension in Shenzhen ? I only need 15days!!
Do anybody knows if is possible to get a extension for tourist visa in Shenzhen ? I only got 14days visa in HK, and I need 14days more !! How long takes to get an extension and how much is it? Where should I go ? Thx a lot !! B. Navera

Your best bet is to go to the PSB (Public Security Bureau) in Shenzhen, and ask them for an 14 days extension (if I recall right, you can get up to two extensions, 30 days each). You will need your passpor, ID size photos, and show them sufficient funds to survive the number of days requested in your extension, for 30 days is about 20,000 yuan. Takes about 5 days if granted. I do not recall the cost. Good luck !
Getting an extension these days is probably more problematic than just going back to HK and getting another visa. Especially where you are in SZ.
If you cannot do it any other way then many nationalities can get 5 days visa-on-arrival when coming from HK to Shenzhen now.
The visa is only valid for Shenzhen (a similar one exist for Macau - Zhuhai).
In the Louhu border crossing after exiting HK right before the Chinese immigration there are some stairs up, go there and get your visa-on-arrival. It is also possible on other borders crossings (not Futian though) but I haven't tried there.
It takes 10 minutes, you can pay with RMB or HKD and it cost 168 RMB for most nationalities (400 for Russia if I recall).
Americans cannot do this.
This is one easy way to do it but will require you to exit and enter every 5 days.

You do not mention where you are from. This is the reason I always pay a couple extra dollars and get a multi-entry visa. Then, you could just go to HK or Macau and come back in again.

The OP was asking for a 15 day extension 21 weeks ago! Then you bring this topic up again on the pretence of being offended....when actually you are advertising for a visa agency! Bloody agents! The OP could have easily & cheaply got an extension from the PSB in Shenzhen without using an agent.
