Q: Pregnancy abortion.help needed urgently.
hi i'm from srilanka. unfortunately my girlfriend got pregnant recently and she's not chinese. We are not in a position to have a baby. we want to abort this one. is it possible to do so..? if possible which hospital.. please help needed urgently.

don't worry , go to a big hospital and tell them detailed thing, not be shy. They will provide you good service. Remember not to go some small private clinics.

even though this is the abortion capital of the world , i would not trust chinese doctors with a serious procedure. if you seriously want to get it done here. get on the bus look for the ads that say "female hospital" you can't miss these ads they are everywhere. look around.

Do hippie's smoke dope? Abortion is used as a form of birth control here....a big shame. Forced abortion is a non publicised but very common occurence here.

As much as I am pro choice I believe abortion should be a last resort. I don't know where they should go...but a big hospital would be my bet.

I am not pronouncing towards or against this choice, just curious about what is the legal situation for this person. Maybe the advice to send him to a big hospital and ask can get him into serious trouble if the adviser is not sure of what he is stating.

They're are multiple abortion hospitals that will do anything you need, they specialize in it and often have tv advertisements. You have not told us your location so no one can really help you. The longer you wait the more dangerous it is for your girlfriend. And next time, instead of killing a life, try a condom, you know the thing that has been around for decades, works like a charm
Undesirable pregnancy is a common issue that the doctors of any big chinese hospitals are meeting everyday, just go to any one good public hospital, tell the doctor the issue and they will issue you will abortative pills if the baby is not too big, this will help I hope.
go to a good hospital..it is no big deal in China...If the doctor could speak English then it is better...Once you are at the hospital you will see many people waiting for that....First, doctor will ask her to do Video X-ray to look at the size of fetus and determine the dose of medicine or other treatment.
Then she or he (mostly she) will ask you to buy the medicine. She has to go to a special room and she will see many other girls waiting there. She has to take the medicine in front of a doctor (not sure about their title!). Wait in the room there where they provide bed also. They check what is coming and how much is coming and recommend you when to visit next time. On second visit she has to take one set of pill (they will provide her two set of pills in the beginning). They will check her and work done (hopefully).
You must visit the hospital second time to be sure that every bit of fetus removed.
Cost: In normal hospital (government) it should not cross 200 RMB....

I just told a truth which i have gone through earlier with my Ex. She was not ready to have the baby and I have no other options than just to follow her. I followed her and I paid that much amount...
By complications, I mean it is a serious complication which I am seeing with my present GF's friend. She did abortion as her SO CALLED boyfriend is a married man and not ready to accept the baby. She did abortions but didn't go for follow up. BANG!!!!!!! Now she has to visit the hospitals again for some minor surgery.....
Just google and one can see that China is not only the factory of other products, it is also a Giant factory of abortions....No debate on WHY as everyone knows the reason.
You need to first get a proper pregnancy test done, or they will not start the abortion process. You will have to get up VERY early in the AM and go to a women and Children's hospital. If you are in Beijnig, I recommend Sino Japanese. We had to do this a couple years ago due to a high-risk pregnancy, we caught it a month in, luckily.
It is a very sad and depressing experience. It will cost you about 3,000 kuai. Use a condom or go on birth control...you'll save yourself many headaches.
