Q: Prohibited to copy

Of course, only China is allowed to copy.

If I want to comment on an article, but the security code isn't working, then I am not allowed to copy what I just wrote. I must type it all again on the reloaded page, and *hope* the security code will work this time.

An effective way of reducing comments on articles. Including negative comments. And positive. And informative. ECC articles are to be disseminated, not discussed.

I never bother with the front page Coin. Ever since they done the story about my mate and the Russian teacher at his kids kindergarten. The story was completely wrong, and the comments against my mate were well out of order.

Even before that, I preferred China Smack to the front page here.

I deleted the frontpage from my bookmarks long ago.

There's a front page?? Tongue

I don't bother looking there unless someone here mentions/links something.

Same here. I only look when someone says "look at this".

Second story on front page - dated Feb 17... 2013!

WTF???

ScotsAlan:

What's the law?

I think it goes like: Post on wechat, and it is forwarded 8000 times, you need a journalism license from the Chinese Gov.

To be a foreign journalist working in China, you need a journalist visa. Not easy to get.. apparently.

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
