Q: Settlers of Catan in Beijing?

I used to play Settlers of Catan at this cafe/board gamery place in Guangzhou, the owners were city champions or something and they were really good at explaining the game in Chinese. Anyone know a place like that here? Or do I just have to buy my own board.....

You will probably need to buy your own board and explain the game to friends.  The game is available pretty cheaply on Taobao and other auction sites.

A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
