Q: What do you think of Zoos in China?

I've been to a few zoos in China and they are really depressing. The one in Beijing is cleaner than others but still it is amazing how people still feed the animals right in front of the zoo keepers and they don't do anything.

Zoos in smaller cities are nightmares.

Why? What is going on?

Careful when going to zoos! Hygiene is not a concern in those places and with all the underfed depressed animals, it becomes a cesspool of germs and bacterias. You never know what you may get so wash your hands often, don't touch anything with your bare hands and be careful when you go to public toilets!

Don't forget STDs can be transmitted not only by sexual intercourse!

The Beijing Zoo?

You mean the one with the restaurant where you can try hippo meat or eat a peacock? The one with the signs on the cages that tell you which parts of the animal are the best to eat and have value according to Chinese "medicine"?

Yeah, classy place. Thank god the Chinese never figured out that eating panda meat gives you a giant boner and only produces sperm that results in male offspring.

Aw crap, I just let that slip didn't I?
