When we moved in, all lamps where equipped with very cold energy saving light bulbs. Kudos to it being energy saving (old school bulbs still available at the time) but man the light it unbearable. As luck would have it, the light bulbs fail pretty frequently, so now we have a more cosy warm lighting. (I am too environmentally concerned (or cheap) to throw away a working bulb)
When I walk at night in the hood, all but a few apartments are lit with cold cold light. Why ?
I look forward to changing the bulbs ,in fact I have built a fitness program around it due to the regularity of changing the Bloody things
haha my whole apartment had 2 light bulbs in total when i arrived there (btw 140qm) and those are small and very dark
Scandinavian:
we have a lamp with 10 bulbs in our living room, in winter I whish it was old school 50watt bulbs as they would provide a lot of heat
dom87:
you can buy these 300W lamps for your bathroom they produce shitload of heat
When we renovated our place we bought a ton of very good philips energy savers. One year on and not one of them has gone.

Exactly why we bought the slightly more expensive Philips ones Scando.
We don't have any, we just have a seven foot lava lamp we all cuddle around in the evening when we're listening to the radio.
