Q: What is the most disgusting thing you saw in public in China?

I think we all see the little kids shit and piss on the sidewalks, but the longer I stay in China that no longer phases me. But I just can't get over how grown men will blow out the snot in their noses inside a restaurant. Have yu seen anything more revolting?

Yeh, a 65 year old Brit hugging up on a 23 year old Philippino girl. She' looked like she wanted to be sick and I probably did too.

Haven't we had this question this month already?

Surprisingly, the most revolting thing I've seen was this old, 60-ish  businessman with 3 young, hot girls (2 looked Chinese, one looked Thai) that looked like they were either gold diggers or prostitutes, walking down the street at night, then kissing them all before taking a taxi.

I was 90% revolted and 10% jealous, in all honesty. But still, that was a disgusting sight.

Chinese men blowing snots out their nose in a restaurant directly onto the floor - no tissue, no hand - directly on the floor!  They do this while other people are eating 2-3 meters away. I cannot think of anything more disgusting or disrespectful!

Another round of China bashing on this Board, as if the Board really needed it.

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
