This means we Chinese r not racist, as we don't think our symbol is the best. Or let's say, I don't like table tennis even it is the national sport, I don't like national flower too, it's ugly, I don't like Qipao(very chinese dress), it's too tight for me.
Why do I need to know these stuff about China?
If u want to know, google it, u can get as much detail as u want. Not every Chinese is expert. And I don't feel ashamed for not knowing such meaningless thing.

I've seen old skanky chinese women wearing the qipao... Wenna7 you must be a frickin giant beast if you can't find one that even fits you!

Does China have a national flower? I know Hong Kong does, (bauhinia) it's on the Hong Kong national flag.

The national food has gotta be KFC... there must be more in any one city in China than in the whole of Kentucky alone lol.

Biff, u r funny……

I say I don't like it because it's too tight, show too much about the figure, ofcoures I can find a bigger one, but that's not the way u wear it, it supposes to be tight~ I like Boyfriend T-shirt……

Wenna, history is the legacy of your countary. Caring about it is a mark of respect for your homeland. "To know your past let you prepare for the future" said George Washington.

When KFC is moar important that the Chinese symbols, there is problem. Or maybe 'Merican ideals are taking too big of place...

Why do u care if a Chinese knows about his/her own country?
Tell us about ur country, how much u know?

I know my country enough, good, bad, pround, ashamed~
As a foreigner here, better to learn much more about China rather than teach.

It is that kind of big question and hard to answer. Not because I don't know but the answers too much.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
