I think China can do this as a lot of the money USA has comes from here in loans..

The only reason that China downgraded is cause the USA did first. China has 70 per cent of it's 3.2 trillion in foreign holdings in the USA. Know what that means? If the USA falls, China is screwed as well.
godefraise believes China is in a vacuum of awesomeness. but todays economies a so interconnected that if one falls it fks up all the others. and this especially true between the US and China. if America collapses tomorrow it will drag down China with it. sad but true.
