1.- Call The City Shop and see if you can order one.

2.- Try ordering them at the Big Bamboo or at City Garden

3.- City Shop also has them on frozen food area

4.- Pines in Jin Qiao had about 6 to 8 Kg turkeys for sale 3 days ago. I think they cost around 450rmb. They were imported turkeys from the US.

5.- Malones Tong Ren and Thumb Plaza will be doing Canadian and American Thanksgiving Dinners and takeaways for Whole Honey Glazed Hams and Whole Turkeys with stuffing and gravy etc. Prices start at Rmb600 for a smaller bird or ham joint (all depends on sizes etc). Call Phil or Johnson on 6247 2400 or Mike or Vanessa on 5033 6717 for details etc

Do you plan on cooking your turkey in an oven? (I know some people deep fry, etc.) If so do you already have an oven/where'd you get it? Because I've been wondering where I can get a good quality, reasonably priced oven in Shanghai, especially with Thanksgiving and Christmas approaching ...

Check out Walmart! I bought turkeys there last Christmas, cooked with stuffing. The turkey was sold in a basket and also included a bottle of cheap wine. Total Price: 350 rmb per bird. I assume they will be doing this again this year for Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
Good luck!
