If you can’t read Chinese, that just go on http://247tickets.cn , they have this online ticket service and several deals with bars and restaurants. Is always cheaper than the cinema.

XXXLARGE:

Double your discounts by joining the VIP clubs which give you 40%-50% discounts and then get the online coupons.  I just saw the Wolf Totem in 3D for 20 yuan!

Loads of cinemas are half price on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Alternatively get some Chinese friends, or ask a colleague to help you

Outside every cinema there are those little postal shacks that sell stuff, they usually have tickets for half nothing.

Try the invincible taobao, open a taobao account yourself or with the help of your friends. Then you could get basically anything you need from there. In this case, you can get a discount ticket on http://dianying.taobao.com/
