Hi there,
I'm an Australian model working in Beijing for 3 months, and I have dyed white blonde hair. Unfortunately, my natural hair colour is dark blonde, and after 6 weeks here my roots are out of control haha. I really DON'T want to go to a Chinese hair salon, as I've heard nothing but horror stories from foreigners that get their hair bleached blonde in Asia, and I usually dye my roots myself anyway. The problem is I cannot find the bleach and developer ANYWHERE, and I'm finding it impossible to explain to my agency what I'm after ( my colour doesn't come in a box and no you can't buy it at Carrefour :p).
maybe someone knows of a hair salon supply store or some blonde foreigners can help me out??? I'm desperate here!
Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is sold in any pharmacy, I do use it to remove blood stains from clothes besides taking care of cleaning wounds. And the tone is sold at many large department stores and cosmetic shops. Your problem will be to find the color you will need, light blond (almost white) is not normally used in China.
Have you tried Wal-mart yet? I would go there first as they always have what you need 95% of the time. If that doesn't work out you might have to go to a hair salon. I've got my haircut at those places so it's actually not that bad. Go to RICH it's a korean style Salon run by Koreans that's if you prefer someone else.
